F-FT and F-FC series cartridges are nominal filter elements with flow direction from outside to inside and are suitable for the separation of water from low-viscosity process liquids such as fuels and other hydrocarbons.
F-FT series cartridges are made from stainless steel mesh coated with a Teflon layer. F-FC series consist of pleated cellulose filter media treated with silicone. Because of their hydrophobic properties, both versions repel water whilst allowing normal flow of hydrocarbons. A small quantity of solid contamination does not affect separation performance. In addition, F-FT/F-FC elements have high chemical compatibility across a wide range of fluids.
